I also serve the pediatric population and work as a music therapist at K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital at Jersey Shore Medical Center. I have experience serving a variety of populations, including individuals with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, ID, epilepsy, multiple handicaps, hospice patients, and many more. I completed my 1,200 clinical internship at the Matheny Medical and Educational Center in Peapack, NJ in 2019 and passed the music therapist board certification exam shortly after. I also have additional training in Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT). I have a special passion for working as a music therapist within the medical setting, especially servicing those with cancer.

A functional assessment examines the individual's strengths and needs through musical responses in the areas of motor, cognitive, communication, social, emotional, behavioral, sensory, and musical abilities.

Goal and Objective Development

Functional, measurable, non-music goals and objectives are developed based on what is observed during the assessment period. Goal areas can include cognitive, communication, social, emotional, behavioral, sensory, and more!

Treatment Intervention

Therapeutic, client specific music interventions are implemented to help address the non-musical goals and objectives.

Ongoing Evaluation

Data collection and documentation are collected after each session. Goal/objective revisions are implemented as needed.
